4 Years Later...

Hey. So I kinda just dropped off of the face of the earth for a few years there... whoops... but good news!! My art has drastically improved!! And a few cool art things have happened! A couple years ago, I received a national award for a large colored pencil work I did and had the amazing opportunity to go to NYC and attend the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards ceremony at Carnegie Hall!! Man... I'm still trying to live up to that.. but c'est la vie. A year later, I received a few regional awards from the same program, so that was pretty cool lol. Anyways... My current art... I have been experimenting a lot more with different styles and trying to distance myself from realism for a little bit. I have also found that for me personally, art classes make me want to eat pencil shavings... so I have made an executive decision to not ever take another art class again (except figure drawing... that is the one exception). I have had so much more motivation to draw since I stopped taking art
